Meet the Attorney

 
Choosing the right law firm to represent you in intellectual property matters is an important decision. Mr. Najafi limits his practice to representing clients with patent, trademark, and copyright matters. Prior to opening his own firm, Mr. Najafi was an associate at an intellectual property law firm which handled similar cases and is ranked as one of the top 100 intellectual property firms in the United States. To date, Mr. Najafi has personally prosecuted patent matters in the electrical, mechanical, and software/business method arts. Mr. Najafi also has experience in preparing novelty and infringement opinions and negotiating licensing agreements on behalf of his clients. Mr. Najafi also prosecutes trademark matters for clients.

Mr. Najafi graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Engineering and received his law degree from Stetson College of Law. He passed the Patent Bar examination during his final year of law school and the Florida Bar thereafter. Before attending law school, Mr. Najafi worked as an engineer for a fortune 500 company in Tampa, FL, therefore providing him with a working knowledge of technical matters that may be useful to your needs.
